Rev Julio Ryan Mekki
Founder and President
Julio is President at CJ's Mediaworkz. Julio founded CJ's Mediaworkz
(a venture philanthropic outfit causing change in inner city London)
in 1993 together with his wife, Latana, and currently serves full
time as its President. Julio is heavily involved in the life and
work of Holy Trinity Brompton as a Pastor, Church Planter, Urban
Youth Specialist and PCC member.
Julio worked as a Minister at Bulawayo Presbyterian Church, he
holds a Masters degree in Theology from a US seminary. Julio is
glad to be Zimbabwean. |

Latana Mekki
Co-Founder
Latana is a chartered physiotherapist with fifteen years' experience
in treating patients with musculosketal problems, specialising
in occupational health for the last seven years. She works at
Great Ormond Street Hospital, treating staff through the Occupational
Health Department, and at Reed Publishers. In addition, she also
runs her own business, LJ Physio Ltd.
Latana is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy,
the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Occupational
Health and Ergonomics and the Organisation of Chartered Physiotherapists
in Private Practice. Latana was born in Malaysia and is of British-Chinese
origin. She holds a B.Sc. Hons (Physiotherapy) from the University
of East London. |

Bruce Middleton
Trustee
Bruce Middleton has 5 years experience in the UK pension fund
industry having worked as both an auditor and accountant in this
field. Since qualifying as a chartered accountant in South Africa
in 1997 he has worked for Ernst & Young as a corporate auditor
before specializing as a pension fund auditor in February 2000.
He presently works at Moore Stephens as part of a newly formed
team, which provides treasury and accounting services to Company
Pension Schemes.
Bruce is South African and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree
as well as a Bachelor of Commerce Honors degree in accounting.
Both of these degrees were obtained at the University of Port
Elizabeth. He is also a member of the South African Institute
of Chartered Accountants. |

David Ahern
Trustee
David joined Burnham International, an international distribution
management company in 1994, following a career of twenty four
years in the Army. While in the Army David served as senior staff
officer in the British Military Government, Berlin during the
collapse of the Wall and as a military advisor to the Zimbabwean
Army following independence in 1980. David lives in South London
with his wife Jane and their three children.
David was educated at Ampleforth College in Yorkshire. He passed
out as top cadet entering the Royal Armoured from the Royal Military
College Sandhurst and holds a Masters Degree in Defence Administration
from Cranfield University. |

Peter D Wilson
Trustee
With over 15 years of marketing expertise and a particular focus
on global consumer brands and their creative communication, Peter
brings strategic brand planning and communications advice to the
CJ's team. Currently working at Pfizer as a Marketing Manager.
Peter has developed visionary strategic plans for some household
power brands both here and previously working with top advertising
agency networks.
Combining his advertising and marketing background, Peter brings
invaluable expertise on the overall develoment of CJ's postioning,
targeting and communication. |

Dr Sally A Wilson
Trustee
Sally has ten years experience in advising government and public
sector agencies. She is a sales director for Serco PLC. Sally
has advised a range of government departments and agencies on
business transformation and performance management. Working closely
with the Youth Justice Board on key award winning government projects
to drive change across multi-agency approaches to tackling persistent
young offenders. One of her recent assignments (National Implementors
to the Youth Justice Board flag ship project ISSP), involved managing
'street crime' criminal justice areas working closely with Youth
Offending Teams, police and the court's custody programme (supervision
and surveillance).
Sally's experience brings invaluable expertise for identifying
new business planning and organisational structure. |
